Hadley wished 4 a safe ramp

On this very special day of remembering heroes W4W would like to introduce one of our own. Hadley was born @ 25 weeks and weighed in at 1lb 4oz’s. She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at just 6 months old. She is non-verbal and in a wheelchair. In the last year she has also been diagnosed with Epileptic Seizures and recently had a feeding tube installed. Living in Saint John – this little Angel always greets us with a smile.

We first met this young lady when she was only 7. She had a smile that would brighten any room. At only six months she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She is non verbal and later it was discovered she also suffered from Epileptic Seizures.
At that time she had just received a brand new wheelchair making it safer to get around. One obstacle stood in her way of accessibility to her home. She needed a wheelchair ramp. Her parents made it clear this was the priority.
Last winter with the help from our partners at the General Presidents Maintenance Committee we completed that task. Once again our preferred contractor was JJG Residential Services who took care of everything from permits to completion.
See some pictures from the build to the day of presentation when a dinosaur appeared and gave Hadley a bunch of her favorite toy kittens.
