Gavin was granted a new playground

A beautiful September morning greeted family, friends & W4W volunteers that showed up to join in the celebration of Gavin’s wish. It had taken months of planning & weeks of building to create this fantastic fun-zone. It was a first when Gavin, who suffers from JDM, had been involved with building his own wish along with sister Berlyn. We owe so many thanks for all the help along the way: to Bernie & team for creating a canvas we could work on; to the more than 20 volunteers that worked so well together in building the playground. To Kent in Quispamsis & Home Hardware on Loch Lomond road for donating all the extras outside of the kit. To our partners Sagratis in the City Market who continue to donate the food for our presentations. We wish the family many years of enjoyment in the FUN-ZONE.
