Ria’s rare genetic disorder did not keep her from wanting to play and be involved… just like any other 4 year old. Playing became a bit difficult for Ria, as she had already been through 26 surgeries.

Workers4Wishes was pleased to be able to build a custom play yard (Ria’s World) that would meet Ria’s needs and become a safe place for her, her siblings, and other friends to spend time in – close to home.

Complete with its very own signage, Ria’s World was built – and just in time!
Ria and her siblings and friends couldn’t wait one more second to play in Ria’s World!

Update From Mom & Dad

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you what an amazing trip we had. We really want to thank you guys soooo much for everything. I really don’t think this trip could have gotten any better. Alex had an amazing time when he met all the players. He was so funny because… you know how shy he is… well, when each player walked in he jumped up with his hand out to shake hands and called them by their first names. The guy that was hosting us there said Alex was a true super fan as most people don’t recognize these guys in their street clothes and he knew his facts lol. We will never be able to thank you all enough. Everything went very smoothly and we had ton of fun. Alex didn’t want to leave.

We’d like to give a special thank you to the following sponsors as well as other community
supporters & friends for helping make Alex’s wish happen.
