Emma wished 4 a lady cave

We were so excited on Sunday to present Emma with her wish of a room that is open and spacious so that she can hang out with her friends and be able to dance to her heart’s content.

Emma was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma early in 2019 which resulted in many trips back and forth to the IWK for her treatment. She has since completed all her treatments, YAY and is looking forward to getting back to “normal” life with her family and friends. We met with the family in January 2020 and thought we would be able to get the room finished for Emma in time for her 16th birthday in July, but then there was Covid.

We had to pause the wish for a bit, but with the help of Kevin Berriault at Berriault Builders who graciously donated his time to complete this room, along with his helper Jerry, and Bill Snodgrass who went above and beyond to help, we were finally able to complete this wish for Emma. She now has a space to relax, watch TV, chill with friends, or dance around in circles for hours in the basement of her family home.
